Suppliers may be required to perform criminal background checks of its personnel working on MSU's campus pursuant to applicable MSU background check policies. In such circumstances, the university reserves the right to audit compliance with the policy requirements and may require documentation of compliance from supplier.
Suppliers will be required to provide documentation of compliance with criminal background check requirements upon request from the university within a reasonable time period, not to exceed fifteen business days. Requests for such audits will be made by MSU Procurement in accordance with MSU’s criminal background policy for suppliers (exhibit A - full policy).
MSU HR utilizes HireRight, a third party vendor that processes all hiring criminal background checks (CBCs) for employees.
